Surrounded by family, Victoria “Vicky” Perez Rentmeester, 45, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI.

Eager to start living, she was born in the hallway of St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI on January 30, 1970. Vicky was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School (1988), MATC, and Marquette University. She was previously employed at Krier Foods in Random Lake, where she met her husband. She was currently employed at Guy & O’Neill, a place where she felt at home, with her amazing co-workers.

Her fun personality was infectious, especially her witty remarks. Vicky had a strong will and a most caring heart. She appreciated classical literature, and listened to the whole music spectrum. She always loved the little things in life, like fresh fallen snow, sunrises, rainbows, wildflowers and Christmas. She shared her love with her nieces and nephew (DeAirist, Felicity, Emma, and Evelyn), who she treated as her very own children. She was known as the “cool aunt”.

She is survived by her loving husband: Gerald (Jerry) Rentmeester of Cascade, WI; her parents: Janie and Vince Perez of Saukville; and her siblings: Rachel (Lawon) Davis of Dayton, OH, Steve, and Cindy, AKA Cidtwa (James) Rondeau of Saukville and sister-in-law Rachel (Rich) Flunker of Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her oldest brother Steve, her parents first born son, and her mother and father-in-law David and Bette Rentmeester.

Her family wishes to acknowledge her work family for their unbelievable support through her battle with ovarian cancer.

Funeral services for Victoria will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 7 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W4274 County Road K in Dacada.

Visitation will be held at the church from 5 p.m. until time of services.
