The Tigers, who led 4-0 at halftime, ran their Big East winning streak to five as they improved to 5-1 (6-2-1 overall).

Chipping in with one goal each were Peter Grimm, Derrick Grimm and Ben Ebertz. Elijah Murphy had a team-high two assists, and Gallenberger, Ben Dehne and Noah Fischer had one each.

HGHS held an outstanding 17-3 advantage in shots on goal. Tiger goalkeeper Hunter Voss was credited with three saves. Warrior goalies Nathan LeSage and Joe Peterson combined for nine.

“We had another solid performance by the team as a whole,” said Tiger head coach Kasey Smith.

“Peter Grimm made a great run and was rewarded with a cross by Eli Murphy at the three-minute mark. Our team talked about a fast start, no matter who we play to set the tone and the boys followed through.

“Our guys just work hard and do what is right for the team. Our passing tonight and assists to the open man instead of difficult shots were impressive,” said Smith.
