Plymouth on canvas

Wisconsin participated in a week-long plein air (outdoor painting) event of Historic Plymouth over the last week, with a public reception and silent auction Friday, Oct. 2.

Molly Johnson, prestigious artist and owner of the Academy of Fine Art in Denmark, will judge this plein air event. Cash awards total $2,700.

Artist is to provide the painting surface, canvas, paper, or board, for stamping at time of check-in for each piece they plan on entering in the Competition and Silent Auction. Packets with maps of possible painting locations and name tags will be given at this time.
