Kennel Club announces winners of annual dog shows

The Sheboygan Kennel Club or SKC held its 73rd and 74th annual dog shows at the Sheboygan Fairgrounds, Plymouth, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19 and 20.

The Best-in-Show Saturday was the Whippet bitch GCH Sporting Fields Shameless, owned by B. Call & J. Cooney-Waterhouse & D. Butt & A. Giles, Ross, Calif.The reserve Best-in-Show was the Russell Terrier dog GCH Baylock Heart Of Fire, owned by Mark & Laurie Ulrich & Kimberly Azzopardi, Sawyer, Mich.

The Best-in-Show on Sunday was the Brussels Griffon dog GCH Sleepyhollow JB Shua Dancing Lover Boy, owned by Dallas Givens & Virginia R. Givens & Jaye Schultz, Scioto Mills, Ill. Handled by Nick Waters, this was JB’s first Best-in- Show. Reserve Best-in-Show was the Golden Retriever dog, GCH Summits Back by Popular demand, owned by George & Sue Dinges & Beth Johlson, Springfield, Ill.

Saturday, the Best-Puppy-in- Show was won by Goodtime’s Wren Push Comes To Shove, a Golden Retriever puppy dog, co-owned by Jennifer Hoffman & Iryna Garcia, Plymouth. Also, Sharon Bruckschen from the SKC, along with co-owner Lori King, have a new champion Toy Fox Terrier bitch, CH Trackside’s Miss Lilly Summertyme. Lilly was shown to her new title by Sharon Bruckschen.

Top Junior Handler on Saturday was Kayla Larson with her Irish Setter, Lucky Morn Special Effect JH. Top Junior Handler on Sunday was Erin Turman with her Australian Shepherd dog, GCH Briarbrooks Invincible. Saturday’s High-in-Trial with 198.5 out of 200 points was the Border Collie, Balance Points Pip Pip Hooray, owned by Nancy Jablonski, Pewaukee.

Sunday’s High-in-Trial with 198.5 out of 200 points was the Golden Retriever, MVP’s Canadian Honker, owned by Michael Trausch, Algonquin, Ill. Sunday’s Highest Combined with 197.5 and 194.5 was the Golden Retriever, OTCH High Times Winning Combination, owned by Tanya Mikolajczyk, Frankfort, Ill.

CH Phoenix’s Dragoon of Blacksmith RN, CAX2, Rottweiler dog co-owned by Donna Rommelfaenger,Sheboygan and Thomas Jacob, Caledonia, Sunday Beginner Novice 1st and Select Dog.

CH Phoenix’s Fire Chief, RN, CA, Rottweiler dog co-owned by Donna Rommelfaenger, Sheboygan and D. Rexrode, Sheboygan, earned Rally Novice Title.

GCH Trackside’s My Rowdy Spirit, Toy Fox Terrier dog co-owned by Sharon Bruckschen & Lori King, Newton, Best of Breed Saturday and Sunday.

CH Trackside’s Miss Lilly Summertyme, Toy Fox Terrier bitch owned by Sharon Bruckschen, Newton, was the Winning Bitch Saturday and Sunday. She earned a five point major to finish her Championship.

GCH Trackside’s Miss Victory Lane. Toy Fox Terrier bitch owned by Sharon Bruckschen, Newton, won five points Saturday and was Select Bitch Sunday.

GCH Wund-R Y Bases Loaded RN CGCA RATN, Keeshonden dog, owned by David & Angela Malanick, Sheboygan, won Best of Breed Sunday.

Goodtime’s Wren Push Comes To Shove, Golden Retriever puppy dog, co-owned by Jennifer Hoffman & Iryna Garcia, Plymouth, won Best-Puppy-in-Show Saturday.

Saturday and Sunday Group Winners:

Saturday’s Sporting Group winner was the Golden Retriever dog, GCH Summits Back by Popular demand, owned by George & Sue Dinges & Beth Johlson, Springfield, Ill.

Sunday’s Sporting Group winner was English Cocker Spaniel bitch, GCH Edgewood Devilish Design, owned by Mrs. Shannon Loritz & Ms. Bonnie P. Threlfall, Fremont.

Saturday & Sunday’s Hound Group winner was the Whippet bitch, GCH Sporting Fields Shameless, owned by B. Call & J. Cooney- Waterhouse & D. Butt & A. Giles, Ross, Calif. Shameless was the Saturday Best-in-Show.

Saturday’s Working Group winner was the Great Dane dog GCH Gracyn Lost Creek The Descendant Of Elat, owned by John & Sue Finck & John & Jessica Gerszewski, Neosho.

Sunday’s Working Group winner was the Samoyed dog GCH Celticfrost Ranger N West free, owned by Patricia & Frank Kreif, Fredonia.

Saturday’s Terrier Group winner was the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier dog, GCH Bryr Rose Phoenix Rising, owned by Don & Carolyn Garrett, San Antonio, Texas.
