The Plymouth Education Foundation’s new initiative, Pay It Forward, for the PHS Alumni Class Challenge is extended and will end at PHS Homecoming on October 9.

The PHS Alumni Class with the highest donor participation rate will be announced during halftime at the PHS Homecoming football game that day. PHS alumni who would like to participate in the challenge are encouraged to:

* Make a Donation to the Plymouth Education Foundation at www.plymouthedfoundation.org in honor of your high school graduation year, for example, for Class of 1989 make a donation of $19.89.

* Challenge Classmates via social media to do the same by posting, “I just took the Foundation’s PHS Alumni Class Challenge to Pay It Forward, will you join me?”

Students in the district, K-12, have been participating in the Pay It Forward challenge by performing acts of kindness and staff has been sharing these on paper chain links. Each of the five schools will have their Pay It Forward paper chain links on display at the PHS Homecoming football game.

In addition, the community has been participating in the Pay It Forward challenge also by performing acts of kindness for someone they know or don’t know. And, have been asked to consider making a donation to the foundation to make a difference that benefits students as well as our community now and into the future.
