Peter Fredrick Lange, age 67, passed away with his loving family by his side on October 10, 2015 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls after a courageous battle with cancer.

Peter was born on July 23, 1948 to the late Henry and Josephine (Bredael) Lange.

He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1967. He attended a 2-year program in advertising at Madison Area Technical College. Then he went on to Layton School of Art in Milwaukee.

On September 4, 1994 he married the love of his life, Mary Grzeca.

He was employed in the printing business for over 35 years. He took great pride in building his log home with the help of friends. He put in a prairie in honor of his mother, which was the first prairie in Sheboygan County. He loved reading, fishing and gardening. He loved caring for the birds and all of God’s creatures. He had a great love for all the cats that shared his life and will be missed by the four cats he leaves behind. He spent his lifetime doing what he loved best, photography.

He is survived by his wife Mary of 21 years. His stepsons Chas (Patti) Imig, Jr. and their beautiful twin granddaughters Emma and Ellie of Thiensville and Stephen (Jennifer) Imig of Chicago. He is also survived by his brother Steven P. Lange of Milwaukee. In addition, he is survived by his sisters-in-law: Jeanne (Brian) Grzeca Goeser of Plymouth and their children Josh and Abbie, Nancy (Dennis) Grzeca Lemerond of Sheboygan Falls, Anne (David) Grzeca Schwanke of Plymouth, Susan Grzeca Bruns of Florida, Karen (Tony) Grzeca Janke of Green Bay and Julie (Mike) Grzeca Kruschke of Plymouth; brothers-in-law: Mike (Linda) Grzeca of Cecil, Jeff (Vickie) Grzeca of Denmark, Jim (Meri) Grzeca of California, Joe (Lorna) Grzeca of Florida, John (Karen) Grzeca of Fond du Lac, Jerome Grzeca of Milwaukee, Bill Grzeca of Florida and Robert (Julie) Grzeca of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his cousin-inlaw Dennis (Amy) Sherkus of Milwaukee. He leaves behind many dear friends, old and new.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents and his Uncle Jacob Bredael and his grandmother Mum Bradael and his father and mother-in-law Leonard and Katherine Grzeca.

Per the family’s request, there will be a private family memorial service. A memorial is being established in Peter’s name.
