Barbara K. Antoine, 70, of Sheboygan Falls, was peacefully reunited with her daughter Liz on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

Barbara was born on February 28, 1945, in Sheboygan, daughter of Gilbert and Myrtle (Shaeff) Tank. She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. Barbara was employed with the clerk of courts in Madison and Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She was then employed as a confidential secretary for The American Club and became Special Events Manager, overseeing the Wisconsin Holiday Market, Antique Show, Teddy Bear Show, and Spring Garden Market. Barbara went on to work as confidential secretary at the Osthoff Resort and coordinated the European Christmas Market and Jazz on the Vine special events.

Barbara was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, where she contributed and cared for the flower garden. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, dining out, and she loved her cats, Malcolm and Emma Rose.

Barbara is survived by many friends, including dear friends, Becky Nelsen and David and Sandy Rabe, all of Sheboygan.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Elisabeth Antoine, and her infant brother, Douglas Tank.

Funeral services to celebrate Barbara’s life were held Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Burial took place at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan.

A memorial fund has been established in Barbara’s name for Sheboygan County Humane Society.
