As You See It

Panther pride

To the Editor,

On behalf of the Plymouth Education Foundation, we would like to thank the Plymouth School District staff, students, families, PHS alumni, and the Plymouth community for their outstanding support and celebrationof homecoming. With the help of many, our community shows how our Positive Panther Pride makes the difference.

Thank you to everyone who planned, participated, and/ or attended the following homecoming celebrations: the foundation’s new “Pay It Forward” campaign, Plymouth High School’s “Under The Big Top,” spirit week challenges, athletic events, alumni hall of fame, pep assemblies, downtown businesses window displays, homecoming parade, and alumni reunions.

These traditions make homecoming in our community an exciting and genuine “Welcome Home” to all—truly uniting the past, present, and future of our schools and our community.

It was an extra special honor this year to be able to offer tours to over 500 community members of the new Food Science and Agriculture Center leading into and during homecoming. Thank you to all of the foundation’s donors and supporters who helped to build this state of the art learning center.

Seeing the hundreds of people, including staff, students, alumni, parents, grandparents, and community members who came out to show their support at the many homecoming events is special and unique to Homecoming in Plymouth. Your presence and participation makes us all proud…Once A Panther, Always A Panther!

We look forward to celebrating Homecoming 2016 commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Plymouth High School!
