Falls finishes its season at 3-14- 2 overall. Notre Dame defeated Luxemburg-Casco to advance to the sectional semifinal match versus New Holstein.
“We just couldn’t get a meaningful possession in their half of the field,” said Falcons’ coach Kris Rusch. “Overall, we played well, even though the score doesn’t reflect it. This is a young team and we will come strong next year.”
Rusch said he felt for seniors Ethan Scott and Haris Advic, noting that it was a hard way for their soccer career to end,
However he was proud of the way the team kept playing through a tough season.
“We learned a lot this year and hopefully we can apply it to move forward and challenge teams next year,” Rusch remarked.
