Ellen A. Dittman, 85, of Plymouth, WI (formerly of Milwaukee) passed away early Wednesday morning (October 28, 2015) at the Atrium Post Acute Care Facility in Plymouth where she had been a resident for the last 10 months.

She was born on February 26, 1930 in Athens, WI, daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Braun) Albrecht.

She attended Athens Grade School and graduated from Athens High School in 1948. In 1960 she married Maynard Dittman.

Ellen lived in Milwaukee for many years and for the past 18 years has resided at Quit Qui Oc housing complex in Plymouth.

Ellen worked at Peerless Brothers in Milwaukee retiring in 1995. She was a former member Chicfor many years at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Ellen enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her loving family.

She is survived by her son: Allen Dittman of Milwaukee; two granddaughters: Andrea Dittman of Milwaukee and Dana Dittman of UW-Whitewater; two sisters: Viola (Bob) Lenz of Florida and Florence Walton of Milwaukee; her twin Brother: Earl (Nancy) Albrecht of Athens; and one brother-in-law: Norman Hamby of Memphis, TN.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by one son: Jeffrey Dittman; and one sister: Lucille Hamby.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon November 2, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth, WI. Father Dan Volkert officiated. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Friends could call at Suchon Funeral Home on Monday November 2, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ellen’s name.
