JEROME E. HAWLEY

Jerome “Jerry” E. Hawley, 77, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on November 2, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Plymouth (Formally Plymouth Care Center), where he was a resident for the past 2 years.

Jerry was born on May 7, 1938 in Appleton, WI, son of the late Edward and Ruth (Vande Hey) Hawley.

He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1956 and attended University Wisconsin Oshkosh graduating with a degree in mathematics. He married Toni Mankosky on February 1, 1958 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.

Jerry worked in sales all his life and retired from Harvestore Company in Kiel. He was a member of the Elks Club in Fond du Lac, served at the Cabaret Club and Curling Club in Clintonville. He also was an avid fisherman and deer hunter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Toni of Plymouth; five children: Carrie (Steve) Freund of Sheboygan, Colleen (special friend: Larry Bubb) Nigh of Sheboygan, Kelly (special friend: Larry Palm) Meyer of Plymouth, Craig (Lisa) Hawley of Little Chute and Mike (Stephanie) Hawley of Mequon; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister: Pat (Bob) Sievert of Arkansas; four brothers: Bob(Nancy) Hawley of Clintonville, Len (Mary) Hawley of Oshkosh, David Hawley of Menasha and Don (Betty) Hawley of Appleton.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws: James and Florence Mankosky and Donald Locy.

Memorial services will be held on Friday evening, November 6, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 6, from 3:00 P.M. until time of services.

Following Jerry’s wishes, his body has been donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
