The Webbs both come from extensive business, graphic and technology backgrounds. They have lived in the Sheboygan area for the last several years.

Kelly, who is originally from Sheboygan, met Justin while working for the international strategy consulting firm McKinsey & Company in their Chicago office.

Kelly was the head of Human Resources and Administration for the Business Technology Office and Justin was the the North American Director of Service Operations leading teams of over 300 people. Kelly has a Masters degree in Human Resources from the University of Minnesota, and Justin received his MBA fromNorthwestern’s University Kellogg Graduate School. After their third child, they decided to move back to Sheboygan in 2011, where Justin joined Landmark Consultants as a Partner focusing on social media app development.

“Earlier this year Justin decided to go out on his own, and we met while he was looking for businesses in the area,” the Evans said in a letter to customers and friends.

“They are the family-oriented people we were looking for while thinking of transitioning the business. They have asked Kelly’s brother, Casey Carr to join them as the VP of Sales for Sun Graphics.”

The staff of Sun Graphics, will all be staying on. They include production manager Amy Schuette, designers Liza Mulloy, Pam Thielman, Tim Wiverstad; receptionist Lynn Gerondale; pressmen Jonathan Daniels and Jake Allmann; bindery specialists Gina Versch, Sandra Fenner, Bob Piontkowski and Jon Gradinjan.

The Webbs will keep the name Sun Graphics, which has been in business since 1924 originally as “The Print Shop”. The Evans bought Sun Graphics in October of 1989 from Dave and Bonnie Hartmann who had previously owned it for over 25years.

The Webbs plan to design, print and mail the same products as in the past but also will add website, mobile app and 3D printing capabilities to the Sun Graphics Brand in the near future.

The Evans will stay on in a consulting role for the next year.

“We want to thank all our customers and friends for their tremendous business and loyalty throughout the years,” the Evans said.
