Carole Kleiber, age 90, of Plymouth, WI, went to be with her beloved husband, Bernard, on Monday, November 2, 2015.

Carole went home to our Lord while surrounded by her family and immersed in their love and prayers.

Carole was born Caroline Rose Holschbach on June 25, 1925 in Manitowoc County, devoted daughter of the late Alphonse and Mary (Svatek) Holschbach. Carole was the fourth of eleven children.

Carole was married on November 27, 1946 to Bernard Kleiber at Holy Innocence Catholic Church in Manitowoc, WI. Bernard preceded her in death on February 27, 2013. Theirs was a true love that will endure through eternity. Their marriage of 66 years was blessed with thirteen children and their loving families: Bernie and Nancy of Whitewater, Bill and Kathy of Sarasota, Florida, Joe and Veronica of Viroqua, Mike and Barb of Gillette, Paul and Patty of Plymouth, Pat and Jane of Darlington, Frank and Judy of Nekoosa, Bob and Diane of Elkhart Lake, Mary and Jeff Richter of Elkhart Lake, Ann and James Schultz of School Hill, Carol and Gregg Morgan of Dawsonville, Georgia, Theresa and John Moore of Elkhart Lake, and Borge and Katie of Plymouth.

Carole and Bernard have 37 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one greatgreat granddaughter.

Carole and Bernard were dairy farmers in Branch, WI before moving their operation and their family to the Plymouth area in 1959. Carole loved raising her family and was always surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, traveling, and collecting rocks from her travels as well as spending time at their second home in Cedar Key, FL. Carole was an adoring mother and grandmother. She was radiant- beautiful inside and out. Carole was loving, intelligent, kind, entrepreneurial, compassionate, hardworking, adventurous and full of gratitude. Carole loved to laugh and others were always drawn to her beautiful smile. Everyone that met Carole felt blessed to have known her. Carole was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth, WI where she served as a Daughter of Isabella. Carole’s life was an example of her dedication to her faith.

Carole is survived by her sisters: Marian Zeman, Joan (Clem) Krueger, Marcella Duellman, Pat Becker and Elaine Juedes; brothers: Andrew Holschbach and Norbert (Norma) Holschbach; sisters-in-law: Mary Holschbach, Delores Holschbach, Helen (Fred) Crocker, Rosie (Ted) Jarosh and Monica (Gene) Ahrens; and brothers-in-law: Ben (Patty) Kleiber and Jerome Kleiber. Carole and Bernard had 148 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, November 8, at Suchon Funeral Home and again on Monday, November 9 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth prior to the funeral mass. The burial will took place immediately following the mass at the Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Carole’s name.
