Rocky Knoll salutes its veterans

The Haslee-Doebert- Schmidt American Legion Post 261 of Greenbush and Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243 of Plymouth conducted Veterans Day services at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center Wednesday. The ceremony recognized 29 veterans who are residents at Rocky Knoll — with each one receiving a rose and a special gift in recognition — and added nine new names to the facility’s Hall of Honor recognizing veterans who were Rocky Knoll residents. Rocky Knoll Administrator Rachelle Vallesky spoke and the Plymouth High School chorus, under the direction of Amanda Gorr, sang several numbers. The ceremony concluded with a rifle salute and the playing of Taps.
