Sleigh added to fund-raiser series

A horse-pulled sleigh was selected to be the featured ornament design for the 11th annual ELG Education Foundation Ornament Fundraiser. These commemorative ornaments are available by making a $20 donation to ELGEF.

This is a perfect way to make a contribution in honor or memory of someone special, or to give a collectable stocking stuffer.

After the holidays, The ELG School District’s newspaper, the Resorter Reporter, will publish an acknowledgement listing those who have contributed and in whose honor or memory the donations have been made.

This year’s featured ornament, designed by 6th grade student, Crystal Schipper, is the eleventh in a series of ornaments created by students in the ELG district. Schipper is the daughter of Sanya DeBlaey and Aaron Schipper and her art teacher is Amy Hammes.

Ornaments are available at both school offices, Wisconsin Bank and Trust in Elkhart Lake, and National Exchange Bank and Trust in Glenbeulah and Elkhart Lake. If you missed the first ornaments in the series, you can round out your collection for an extra $5 donation for each, while supplies last. If you have any questions or would like to order an ornament, please contact Ann Buechel Haack at 876-3381. Add to your collection or start now.

The Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, supports the School District in its mission to provide a caring, innovative learning environment.

The ELGEF provides resources and enhances opportunities not included in the school district’s operating budget.
