Dawn M. Arens, 55, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Pine Haven Christian Home.

Dawn was born on December 6, 1959, in Sheboygan, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth “Betty” (Kobes) Otte. She was a 1978 graduate of Cedar Grove-Belgium High School. Dawn was employed as a baker with Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly for eight years. Previously she worked at Richardson Furniture Co. and Dutchland Plastics.

Dawn was a member of the Sheboygan Falls Jaycees. She enjoyed her cat, Panther.

Dawn is survived by her son: Lance Arens of Sheboygan; her brother: Craig (Barbara) Otte of Cedar Grove; her niece and nephew, Lauren and Jason Otte; dear cousins and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services to celebrate Dawn’s life will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with Mr. Steven Klescewski officiating. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in the Town of Holland.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of the service at Noon.

A memorial fund has been established in Dawn’s name for Pine Haven Christian Communities and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
