GLENN R. KALK

Glenn R. Kalk, 89,of the Town of Plymouth, WI, passed away at his home early Saturday morning (Dec. 5, 2015).

Glenn was born on June 13, 1926 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Gilbert and Vernie (Eastman) Kalk.

He attended Mankato Grade School in the Town of Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1943.

Glenn served in the United States Army from 1950-1952.

On October 25, 1953 he married Evelyn Fromm at the Reform Church in Plymouth.

The couple has resided in the Plymouth area since their marriage.

Glenn farmed in the Town of Plymouth for over 30 years.

He was a member of the Farm Bureau Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years: Evelyn of the Town of Plymouth; three children: Warren Kalk of the Town of Plymouth, Lynette (Gary) Sesing of Plymouth, Russell (Julie) Kalk of Plymouth; six grandchildren: Nathan (Amanda) Sesing of Fond du Lac, Tamara Sesing (Fiance: Ryan Bertram) of Plymouth, Chad (Jamie) Sesing of Plymouth, Anita (Jason) Schwobe of Chilton, Sydney and Chloe Kalk both of Plymouth; six great grandchildren: Summer, Clayton, Callen, Isabelle, Greta and Addison

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one infant grandson: Reese Kalk; one brother: Fay Kalk; one sister: Louise (Lyle) Kaiser; mother and father-in-law: Rita (Lester) Biller.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening, Dec. 10, at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Tom Fleischmann, chaplain for the Sheboygan County Health Care Facilities will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends and relatives may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, Dec. 10, until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Glenn’s name.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post # 5612 will conduct military rites at the Suchon Funeral Home following the services on Thursday evening.
