Ring them bells

Members of Plymouth Boy Scout Troop 874 were manning the Salvation Army Red Kettle collection station at the Plymouth Walmart store Tuesday night. Donations to the campaign, the main fundraising effort for the Salvation Army, are far below their goals thus far. The goal is to raise $60,000 but as of early this week the total was only at $8,500, according to Deb Schalk of the Salvation Army. In addition to the need for donations, the Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to ring bells at Walmart and Pick ‘n Save in Plymouth. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Schalk at (920) 528-8465, by email at dschalk@frontier.net or online at sheboyganwi.volunteerfirst.org. Review photo by Emmitt B.
