Glenn Albert Herzberg, 85, of Plymouth passed away Thursday evening (December 17, 2015) at the Atrium Post Acute Care of Plymouth where he had been a resident for the past 9 months.

He was born on April 30, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, son of the late Albert and Emma (Reber) Herzberg.

He attended and graduated from Pittsville High School in 1948.

On November 19, 1951 Glenn married Clara Ann Tiry at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield.

The couple resided since their marriage in the Marshfield, WI area before moving to the Plymouth/Adell area in 1963.

Glenn was employed with 21st Century Genetics for many years retiring in 1991. He enjoyed reading, traveling and was a musician playing the accordion in a Polka Band in Marshfield.

Survivors include his wife Clara of Plymouth; two sons: Allen Herzberg of Sturgeon Bay and Larry (Joanne) Herzberg of Random Lake; two daughters: Cynthia (Kenny) Hill of Boonville, Ind. and Pamela (Paul) Simpson of Evansville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Walter (Theresa) Tiry of Marshfield and David (Lucy) Tiry of Ripon; one sister-in-law: Mary Ann Koeller of Green Bay; and a cousin and dear friend: George Reber of Kimberly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers in-law: Delbert Tiry and Joseph Tiry.

Per Glenn’s wishes there will be no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Marshfield, WI.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Glenn’s name.
