Happy Cheese Year!

The Plymouth Arts Center welcomed in the new year in their inimitable style Thursday night with their 8th Annual Cheese Drop event.

To make the evening more family-friendly, the signature event - the dropping of the big wedge of cheese - took place at 10 p.m. instead of midnight, but the festivities went on all night, inside and out.

Outside, in addition to the cheese drop - which drew media coverage from Milwaukee television stations and others - there were fires for making s’mores, pudgie pies and other goodies.

Inside, there were snacks and hors d’oeuvres, drinks and lots of music and dancing until well after the actual ringing in of the new year 2016.
