ZACHARY J. TURICIK

Zachary J. “Zach” Turicik, 32, of Plymouth, WI. After a long and courageous battle with addiction, we lost our son and brother on December 29, 2015.

Zach was born to his loving parents Tom and Pam (Mattsen) Turicik on November 18, 1983 in Sheboygan, WI.

He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 2002; he continued his education at the University of Wisconsin - Sheboygan for 2 years and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2007 with a major in Business and Religious Philosophies.

Zach worked at Sentry Foods for his family’s business during his high school years and then at Johnsonville Foods during his college days; after graduation he went into business with his brother Dustin who had established IQ Print Media in Florida. The brothers moved back to Plymouth in 2010 to be near their loving grandparents and parents.

He was a current member of Plymouth Lions Club, BNI, Partners in Success, the Chamber of Commerce in Sheboygan and Plymouth, and a past member of the Plymouth Optimist Club.

Zach loved spending time with his loving family and his many friends, and spending time with children was special to him. He had a zest for life; music played an important part in his walk to the beat of his own drum, he was a huge Packers and Brewers fan, loved nature and the outdoors, playing games indoors and out such sheepshead, cribbage, bocci ball and racquetball; and most of all his Saturday projects time with his Dad and quiet talks with his Mom.

He will be remembered for his big bear hugs, smiles, his contagious laughter, his kindness and big heart. He had a non-judgmental character, a caring attitude and willingness to help others. He is also known as the loudest Turicik and was proud of it!

Those that are left to cherish his loving memories are his parents and best friends: Tom and Pam of Plymouth WI; one brother: Dustin Turicik of Sheboygan WI; his maternal grandmother: Diane Mattsen of Waukesha WI; aunts and uncles: Brenda (Tom) Jansky of Blair WI, Chris (Rossy) Mattsen of Largo FL, Pat (Patrick) Lawlor of Marengo IL, Bob (Jeannie) Turicik of Plymouth WI, Lori Lance of Woodbury MN, Bryan Zur of White Oak TX, David (Kathy) Zur of Park City UT, Lisa (Chris) Burck of West Palm Beach FL, Randy Zur of Pewaukee WI, Mike (Sarah) Turicik of Plymouth WI, and Jason (Jessica) of Sheboygan

WI.

He is also survived by many cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Joseph Turicik and paternal grandmothers: Ann Marie and Zita Turicik; and his maternal grandfather: Clyde Mattsen.

Memorial Services were held on Sunday afternoon January 3, 2016, at 4:00 pm at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. William Rishel, pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth officiated. Following Zach’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Friends could call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 1:00 pm on Sunday until the time of services.
