MG hosting bus trip to Madison

Join Sheboygan County Master Gardeners on a visit to Garden Expo held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Wisconsin Public Television Garden Expo is one of the premier garden events in the country. Now in its 23rd year, this three-day event celebrates the latest trends in gardening and landscaping and attracts more than 20,000 people from across the Midwest.

The cost of the trip is $35 for members of the Master Gardener program and $40 for other gardeners. The cost covers transportation and admission to the Garden Expo. Bring your own lunch and snacks or visit one of the many food vendors at the event.

A bus will depart from the UW-Sheboygan east parking lot at 7 a.m. and from the Plymouth Walmart parking lot (southeast corner) at 7:25 a.m. The bus will return to Sheboygan around 6 p.m.

Your day will be filled with visits to scores of vendor and exhibitor booths, the opportunity to choose from almost 50 workshops and seminars, and a chance to have your gardening questions answered by experts. More information is available at the Wisconsin Garden Expo website at
