Conservation clubs donate to charities

The Sheboygan County Conservation Association passed the hat amongst its 27 member clubs at their Dec. 16 meeting and collected $990 for the Wounded Warriors Project; $864 for the Share the Spirit Program; and $524, along with many boxes of nonperishable food, for the Sheboygan County Food Pantry.

The member clubs of the SCCA include: Adell Sportsman’s Club, Between the Lakes Muskies, Binversies Sportsmens Club, Crystal Lake Sportsmen Club, Farm- ers & Sportsmen’s Conservation Club, Hermitage Conservation Club, Hmong American Sportsmen Club, Howards Grove Rod & Gun Club, Johnsonville Rod & Gun Club, Koenig’s Conservation Club, Ladies of the Kettles, Lakeshore Trout Unlimited, Marshview Conservation Club, Northern Kettles Chapter-National Wild Turkey Federation, Petermann’s Hunting & Fishing Club, Rhine/Plymouth Field & Stream Sportsman Club, Ridgerunners Sportsmen’s Club, Riverside Hunting & Fishing Club, Sauk Trail Conservation Club, Sheboygan Falls Conservation Club, Sheboygan Rifle & Pistol Club, Smerke’s Sportsmen’s Club,Suscha Fale Sportsmens Club, Tri-County Sportswomen, Whitetail Bowhunters, Winooski Bowmen Archery Club and Wisconsin Trappers - District 8.

The SCCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission statement is “To serve the outdoor community, protect and maintain habitat, educate and provide opportunities for all to enjoy the great outdoors.”
