DELBERT J. McCLINTOCK

Delbert J. “Del” McClintock, 82, of Plymouth, WI passed away late Tuesday morning (Jan. 19, 2016) at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls where he had been a resident for the past four days.

Delbert was born on January 30, 1933 in Ladysmith, WI, son of the late Vernon and Lillian (Verhyen) McClintock.

He attended Ladysmith Catholic Grade schools and graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1951. He also attended Ashland College for several years. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955.

On October 29, 1955 he married Geraldyne “Geri” Wise in Ladysmith, WI. The couple resided in Ladysmith after their marriage moving to Plymouth in 1965.

Del worked at the Plymouth Utilities for 32 years retiring in 1997. Del enjoyed shooting, hunting, reading, the company of his dogs and spending time with his family. He was a member of various gun clubs in the area.

Survivors include special friend and companion: Audrey Maske of Howards Grove; three children: Kevan (Connie) McClintock of Plymouth, Stephan Mc- Clintock of Plymouth, Jolene McClintock of Sheboygan; two grandchildren: Kelsey Wallis of Creech Air Force Base, Nevada and Colin McClintock serving in the U.S. Navy; one brother-in-law: Rodney (Linda) Wise of Ladysmith; one niece: Dawn Wise of Haugen, WI; one Nephew: Trent Wise of Ladysmith.

He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday evening (January 22, 2016) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home on Friday (Jan. 22) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Delbert’s name.

The Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post #243 of Plymouth will conduct military rites following the service at the funeral home.
