The Panthers upped their third-place Big East Conference record to 8-2 (12-2 overall). Elkhart fell to 4-6 in the BEC (6-9 overall).

“Both teams played hard and both teams had their chances to come out with the win. Reedsville made the most of their opportunities and came out on top,” said Resorter head coach Donny Kulow.

“Turnovers hurt us down the stretch and we had a few defensive breakdowns. If we clean some of the little things up, we can hang with just about anyone.”

Elkhart committed 22 turnovers in the game.

“We played one of the the top teams in BEC right down to the wire. The more we are put in these situations, the better chance we have off pulling these games out,” said Kulow.
