Natalie R. Martin, 11, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, as a result of a fire at their family home.

Natalie was born on March 8, 2004, in Sheboygan. She is the daughter of Matthew Martin, Kristi (Schmidt) and Christopher Maki. Natalie was a sixth grader at Farnsworth Middle School in Sheboygan.

Natalie was part of the family at Crossroads Community Church in Sheboygan. She was a member of REINS Riding Program and school chorus. Natalie was artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts, and singing.

Natalie is survived by her parents: Kristi and Christopher Maki of Sheboygan Falls and Matthew Martin of Sheboygan; her sister: Jenna Martin; grandparents: Larry and Mary Martin of Sheboygan, Marcie and David Laurin of Sheboygan Falls, Renee Thompson of Sheboygan, and Mike Schmidt of Sheboygan; great-grandparents: Robin Krause of Sheboygan, Betty Thompson of Cleveland, OH, Gary and Marsha Thompson of Georgia; and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Natalie was preceded in death by her brothers: Benjamin Martin and Carter Maki.

A service to celebrate Natalie’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m .on Monday, February 1, 2016, at Southside Alliance Church with Pastor Jeff Jaeger officiating. Friends may gather at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Natalie’s name for Living Hope International.
