Leonard Edward Faas Jr., 92, of Plymouth, WI passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.

He was born on July 27, 1923 in the Town of Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Leonard Sr. and Bertha (Rediske) Faas.

He attended Glenbeulah Grade School. On November 9, 1946 he married LaVern Mayer at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Batavia.

Leonard was a dairy farmer for 25 years then worked with the Sheboygan County Highway Department for 17 years retiring in 1985.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

Leonard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid card player and enjoyed fishing, reading and watching baseball.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years: LaVern (Mayer) of Plymouth; three daughters: Lorie (John) Utech of Neosho, WI, Lois (Robert) Buntz of Cedar Rapids, IA and Lynn (Greg) Kallenberg of Shawano, WI; ten grandchildren: Michelle (Jerrid) Stelter, Lynn Marie Utech, Michael (Anne) Utech, Kelly (Ryan) Mueller, Joseph Hand, Timothy (Kelly) Hand, Angela (Scott) Hietpas, Amy (Bob) Gmeiner, Becky(Brett) Houdeshell, Brad(Deb)Buntz; 20 great-grandchildren: Zachary, Abigail, Brooklyn, Emersyn, Reagan, Ryan Jr., Stella, Alyson, Jacob, Gracie, Carsyn, Paige, Logan, Audra, Attie, Jackson, Lindsey, Tyler, Jordan, Josh; and one brotherin law: James (Jean) Boettcher of West Bend.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Carl Faas; four sisters: Helen Miller, Caroline Bauman, Catherine Foley and Renatta Rackow; three brothers-in-law: Wallace Mayer, Dave Miller and Alvin Baumann; three sisters-in-law: Marion Boettcher, Frieda Faas and Melvina Guenther; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home on Friday, (Feb. 5) from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Memorials are suggested in Leonard’s name to St. John Lutheran Church and Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.
