History of Bemis Mfg. outlined

Made in Sheboygan County, From Coffee Filters to Cookware, a fivepart series about Sheboygan County’s deep and fascinating manufacturing history begins Wednesday, March 2, 2016 with focus on Bemis Manufacturing of Sheboygan Falls.

This program begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Sheboygan County Historical Museum, 3110 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan.

Scott Kuehn, Technical Talent Acquisition Manager and Mike Klein, VP Human Resources at Bemis will take us through the history and accomplishments of the long-lived company.

Bemis, with its historic roots in the White Wagon Works in Sheboygan Falls, made everything from bowling pins to hockey pucks along with it signature product, toilet seats. The company is an integral part of life in the county, a tremendous community steward and a company actively involved in making the county a better place to live.

A joint venture of the Sheboygan County Historical Society and Sheboygan County Historical Research Center, the program is free of charge and open to the public.
