One killed, one injured in industrial accident at Waldo

A 38-year-old man was killed and a 61-year-old man injured in an industrial accident Monday at Personalized Tours and Coaches Inc., W4928 Pheasant Valley Rd., Waldo.

According to a report from Capt. Cory Roeseler of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, a 911 call was received about 12 noon Monday reporting an industrial accident.

The two men, employees of Personalized Tours and Coaches, were doing mechanical work on a bus at the town of Lyndon business when the bus moved and struck both them. The one man was declared dead at the scene while the other was taken by Orange Cross ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Adell First Responders, Orange Cross ambulance, the Cascade Fire Department Jaws of Life and the Sheboygan County Medical Examiner’s office.

No further information was available at press time. The incident remains under investigation.
