ROBERT SCHELLHAASS

Robert Schellhaass, 88, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, February 26, 2016.

He was born on August 16, 1927 in the Town of Mitchell, son of the late Robert and Lena (Faess) Schellhaass.

Bob graduated from Plymouth High School in 1945 and was class salutatorian.

He worked at Kohler Company for 41 years. While working at Kohler, he also farmed and had a septic cleaning business.

Bob married Ethel Reinke in 1949 and they raised their five children in rural Plymouth. Ethel died in 1983, and he married Beverly Drewek in 1985. He was a hard worker and loved to play cards and games with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife Beverly; his five children and four step-children: Steve (Dr. Sheri) Schellhaass, Cheryl (Mark) Hellestad, Scott (Georgia) Schellhaass, Susan (Gary) Lisowe, and Jeff (Karen Huang) Schellhaass, Gerard (Chris) Drewek, Mary (Bob) Goedeke, Annette (Scott) Bunyea and David (Dr. Rupali) Drewek; seventeen grandchildren: Anna (Will) Mellman, Elaina Schellhaass, Erica (Brendan) Hellestad McGrath, Callie (Andrew) Harder, Jordan Lisowe, Justin Lisowe, Brandon Schellhaass, Jade Schellhaass, Matthew Drewek, Amanda Drewek, Willy Goedeke, Elly Goedeke, Jed Goedeke, Lauren Bunyea, Bree Bunyea, Reva Drewek and Raina Drewek; one greatgranddaughter, Nora McGrath. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Ethel (Reinke); his sisters: Ethel and Charlotte; his brother: George.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2016 at 5 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth. Rev. William Rishel, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday afternoon March 5 at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of services.
