Tiny Tumbler classes at UW-FdL

The Continuing Education Office at the University of Wisconsin- Fond du Lac is accepting registrations for the Mary Kelly Youth Gymnastics program for boys and girls. The program will run on Saturdays, April 2 through May 7 (no class on April 16).

Parent, Infants & Toddlers in Motion, for ages 10 months to three years will be offered 8:30-9 a.m. This course offers parents the opportunity to work one-on-one with their child in a safe environment exploring balance, coordination, rhythm and more. Children will experience music and movement activities and learn how to jump, climb and land safely.

Run, Jump and Tumble, for ages three to four will be offered 9:10-10 a.m. This course includes music, exploratory movement and basic gymnastics and will offer the opportunity for children to increase their attention span, balance and coordination. They will strengthen skills in listening, following oral directions, cooperation and taking turns. Children must be three years of age by the program start date and diaper free.

Tiny Tumblers, for ages five to six will be offered 10:10-11:25 a.m. and uses gymnastics to teach balance, coordination and flexibility. Children will have the opportunity to explore gymnastics equipment and physical activity in creative ways.

Youth Gymnastics, for ages seven to 12 will be offered 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. This course will explore gymnastics equipment while learning intermediate skills and tricks in addition to gaining strength, balance, flexibility and coordination.

The program director is Heather Kill who competes on the UW Oshkosh gymnastics team. All other instructors also compete on the UW-Oshkosh gymnastics team.
