PHS girls team All-State Academic

The 2015 Plymouth High School girls varsity cross country team recently was honored by the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association as an Academic All- State team.

This honor is given to Wis- consin cross country teams that qualify to run at the state meet and whose running members have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 or better.

The PHS team took ninth at the state meet in Wisconsin Rapids, and had an average team GPA of 3.9. This is the seventh time a PHS cross country team has earned this award.

All seven girls also earned individual Academic All-State honors as each had at least a 3.4 GPA or better. Individually, senior Sophie Bolich has been an Academic All- State cross country runner each of her four years as a cross country runner at PHS.

Other members of the PHS Academic All-State team include senior Olivia Jankowski and freshmen Amanda Triebensee, Lauren Rabe, Gabi Mella, Allie Gruttner and Izzy Kastelic.
