Kohler Co. history described

Made in Sheboygan County, From Coffee Filters to Cookware, a fivepart series about Sheboygan County’s deep and fascinating manufacturing history continues Wednesday, March 23, 2016 with a focus on Kohler Co.

Kohler Company is one of the largest privately operated firms in the United States. Run by a circle of family members who descended from the founder, Kohler Co. is one of Wisconsin’s largest employers. Best known for its line of bathroom fixtures, the company is also a leading producer of electric generators and small engines.

Steve Cassady, Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations will enlighten us about the company’s deep history in the county, its varied and always changing product line, and its community stewardship.

This program begins at 6:30pm and will be held at the Sheboygan County Historical Museum, 3110 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan.

A joint venture of the Sheboygan County Historical Society and Sheboygan County Historical Research Center, the program is free of charge and open to the public.
