MYLEEN G. McCUE

Myleen “Tiny” G. McCue, 89, of Cascade, WI. passed away late Thursday afternoon, April 7, 2016 at the Waterford at Plymouth where she had been a resident for the past five months.

She was born on April 2, 1927 in the Town of Sherman, a daughter of the late Carmen and Lorena (Weingertner) Schulz.

She graduated from Random lake High School in 1944 and attended Sheboygan County Normal School earning her teaching degree in 1946.

On November 25, 1948 she married LeRoy McCue at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Silver Creek. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2009.

Myleen was a teacher for the Town of Scott, Greenbush and the Town of Sherman. She was also employed for Gilson Brothers for many years, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo and a former Sunday school teacher at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Silver Creek and sang in the church choir.

Myleen was a former 4-H leader for the Cascade Satellites and a present member of the Plymouth Auxiliary and volunteered at the Cascade Grade School.

Survivors include her children: Michael (Karen) McCue of Plymouth, Marcy (Gordon) Mackle of Cascade; granddaughter: Kim Mackle (Special friend: David Guenther) of Plymouth; great granddaughter: Kelsi Guenther; two sisters in-law: Violet Zuge of New London and Eva Rae (Wendell) Wendt of Lewiston, Idaho.

She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Morla (Fred) Belger, Virginia (George) Schwind and Romona (Fritz) Balz; one brother: Roger (Irene) Schulz; her mother and father-in-law: Leland and Nina McCue; four brothersin law: Allan McCue, Donald McCue, Leland McCue Jr. and John Zuge.

Funeral services will be held Monday evening, April 11, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Nhia Wahn Her Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday evening (April 11) from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Myleen’s name.
