Schubert wins pair, leads EL girls in triangular

Schubert was clocked in 16.9 seconds in the hurdles. In the long jump, she had a 16-8 performance. Schubert won a fourth-place medal in the long jump at last year’s Division 3 state meet.

The Resorters finished third in the triangular with 23 points. Random Lake took first with 71 and Kohler/Sheboygan Christian placed second with 38.

Elkhart’s other winner was the 800 relay which had a time of 2 minutes, 10.0 seconds. The relay included Jessica Mehre, Summer Henschel, Kaylin Kalbacken and Mia Rentmeester.

Junior Andrew Sitko earned a pair of second places to lead the Resorters. Sitko was runner-up in the high jump at 5-0 and the 3,200 run with a time of 11:53.6.
