Charles “Charlie” Steiner, 64 completed his life’s journey on Friday, March 25, in Dunnellon, Florida.

He was born in Plymouth, Wisconsin on September 2, 1951, son of Claude “Brownie” and Margaret (Plaetzke) Steiner. He attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969.

Charlie worked in his father’s business, Steiner’s Standard Service before moving to Florida where he owned and operated Home Town Concessions. He will be remembered by family and friends for his kindness and love of family. He was enjoyed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara; sons: Harley (Rhiannon), Bradley (Leah) and Nicolaus (special friend Danielle); grandchildren: Judson, Lilliana, Grayson, Kadence, and Jaydianna; his mother-in-law: Barbara Bartorella; his father-in-law: Richard Roode; mother: Jean Wifler Steiner; sisters: Christine (Glenn) Schumacher, Mary Wittkopp; and brother-in-law: James Jacobson; nephews: James and Robert Jacobson, Joel (Nicole) Schumacher, Brett (Stephanie) VanderBloemen, and Mark Wittkopp; nieces: Deborah (Victor) Meyer, Teresa Schumacher, Kathleen (John) Pethan, Amy (Ed) Kelly, and Amanda (Toby) Joy. He is further survived by William (Kathia) Wifler, Catherine (David) Marsh, Peter (Catherine) Wifler, Timothy (Christine) Wifler, Elizabeth (Bruce) Studer.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Anna Mae Jacobson and Elizabeth VanderBloemen; brothersin law: Michael Wittkopp and Thomas VanderBloemen.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held on Saturday, April 2 in Lecanto, Florida.

Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery on Saturday, April 23 for graveside services. Followed by a memorial share at City Club in Plymouth.
