“We had a very solid day. Four players in the top 10 was a great showing from us,” said PHS head coach Dan Knaus.

“Cole and Alex played very well. Cade and Jake had a few bad holes but played solid as well,” said Knaus.

“The course played very diffi- cult and low scores were hard to come by. This tournament tends to be a very firm test that rewards the best teams and players,” said HGHS head coach Joe Hansen.

I thought Jack Baldwin had a strong day. He had not played the entire course before the tournament and has had quite an impact as a freshman so far this season.

Layne Gustafson has also continued to have a strong senior season as he shot another strong score,” said Hansen.

“Dante Miller played one of the better rounds of his career, shooting a 90. We were a little short-handed without Brennan Cain but overall we were pleased with how we played,” said Elkhart head coach Bart Larson.

“We know we will improve as the season goes on. This was a good experience for a lot of our younger guys.”
