Celebrating Arbor Day





Students in Cristi Smith’s second grade class at St. John Lutheran School helped city officials celebrate Arbor Day Friday. Director of Public Works William Immich presented Mayor Donald Pohlman with a plaque (right) marking the city’s 23rd straight year being designated a Tree City USA community, then the two unveiled the Tree City USA flag (above) with the help of the students, who presented the mayor with Arbor Day posters they created that will hang in City Hall.
