With the victory, Falls upped its record to 6-0 in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference (9-2 overall) and remained tied with Manitowoc Roncalli for first place.

Falls forward Payton Benzschawel continued to power the offense with her third three goal game of the season.

“Payton is ready for every game and is very focused,” said Falcons’ head coach Brian Mentink. “She makes the other players play better. We’re passing the ball well and the team is finishing well.”

Benzschawel started the scoring with a goal at 13:31 to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.

Lauryn Bresser made it 2-0 at 41:33 on a nice pass from Danika Carroll.

The Falcons’ offensive pressure forced a Huskies own goal for the third goal of the game to take a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Benzschawel scored on a well executed punt from goalkeeper Rachel Wilke that bounced into the Huskies’ side. It was all Benzschawel from there as she knocked the ball into the net at 56:38.

Benzschawel finished with her third goal on an assist from Carroll at 76:17 for a 5-0 lead.

Wilke received the call for a late penalty kick and connected on a shot to finish off the Huskies.

Falls blanked the Kiel 4-0 Tuesday, May 3.

The Falcons took a 3-0 first half lead and never looked back.

Becky Raeder tallied the first goal unassisted to put the Falcons on top 1-0. Kim Schwobe then scored off an assist from Benzschawel to make it 2-0.
