Glacierland board has vacancy

Sheboygan County Administrator Adam Payne is seeking interested persons residing within Sheboygan County to apply for one full member position and one alternate position to serve a two-year term on the Glacierland Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Advisory Board.

The Glacierland RC&D Advisory Board usually holds meetings twice a year at various locations throughout the service region.

Glacierland RC&D is a non-profit, grass-roots organization which addresses the social, environmental and economical concerns of northeast Wisconsin. Its primary focus is the conservation, development and utilization of area resources.

The goals of Glacierland RC&D are to assure the quality of the natural resource base for future generations; provide area citizens with an alternative, healthy, and satisfying place to live, work and play; and improve the standard of living, quality of life and provide adequate incomes for all residents.

The county administrator’s appointments are confirmed by the Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors. Applicants should send a letter of interest and brief resume to the attention of County Administrator Adam Payne at the Sheboygan County Administration Building, 508 New York Ave., Sheboygan 53081. Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 7.
