EL Farmers Market has begun

The Elkhart Lake Farmers & Artisans Market, presented by the Elkhart Lake Chamber of Commerce, opened its 27th season Saturday, June 4.

The open air market is held in the downtown village square next to the train depot at the corner of East Rhine and Lake streets, every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., from now until Oct. 8.

The Saturday Market features 80+ vendors offering a mix of seasonal fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, homemade and baked goods as well as local artists and craftsmen who sign on to sell their unique wares, art pieces and collectables ranging from jewelry, home d├ęcor and craft items, clothing, metalsmith goods, wood carvings and more.

With its many retail businesses, restaurants and shops also open during the market, downtown Elkhart Lake offers a great place and lively atmosphere for people to shop, dine and simply enjoy a sense of community.
