PHS students included in conference magazine

The works of 14 Plymouth
High School students are included in the 2016 issue of the Perspectives all-conference literary
magazine.
Students at any East Central
Conference school can submit
any form of creative writing to
their English Department teachers, who review the work and
select pieces worthy of publication. PHS English teachers Janet
DeJean Newton and Lucas Cleary
made the selections for Plymouth,
and chose writings by the follow-

ing PHS students:
• Matt Baizley
• Natalie Britt
• Moriah Butters
• Katy Coley
• Joshua Hafemann
• Kate Harms
• Amanda Krueger
• Julia Krueger
• Emily Pitzen
• Danielle Roelse
• Jake Sauter
• Justin Schmitz
• Anna Wachowiak
• Tehya Wachuta

The opportunity replaces Menagerie, published by the Eastern
Wisconsin Conference, which
PHS belonged to until this school
year. Participating schools in Perspectives are Berlin, Campbellsport, Kettle Moraine Lutheran,
Kewaskum, Plymouth, Ripon,
Waupun and Winneconne.
Each year, one of the conference schools takes a turn hosting
a luncheon honoring the writers,
which this year was hosted by
Campbellsport at the Camelot
Country Club in Lomira.
