LaVONNE E. CHAPPELL

LaVonne E. Chappell, 88, of Plymouth, WI was called home to our Lord on June 18, 2016.

She was born on November 8, 1927 in Madison, WI, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Morschauser) Conner.

LaVonne, to all who knew her, was a unique, funny caring individual who touched the lives of everyone around her.

She married Dean W. Chappell on July 13, 1946 and raised 4 loving children. Dean preceded her in death on December 25, 1995. She was totally dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives. Growing up in Madison also made her one of the Wisconsin Badger football teams most dedicated fan.

She is survived by her children: Dean Chappell Jr. (his wife: Joan) of Rice Lake, Charles (Kathy) Chappell of Florence, AZ, Linda (Roger) Galbari of Plymouth; grandchildren: Dean Chappell III (his wife: Kristine), Bill (Kristina) Chappell and Amy Chappell, Clint Chappell, Natalie (Scott) Monroe, Chelsea Chappell and Dane (Anna) Chappell, Michelle Leschke, Nathan (Breila) Wehrmann and Charity (Arthur) Francis; 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; one brother: James (Bernice) Conner of Oregon, WI.

She is also survived by sister s and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dean; one daughter: Paulette Deer; one sister: Veronica (Lawrence) Gunther.

Following LaVonne’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9 at Suchon Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in LaVonne’s name.
