SANDRA KATHERINE MIKOLOGIC

Sandra Katherine Mikologic, age 79, of Las Vegas, NV, (Formerly of Plymouth) passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV.

She was born March 20, 1936 in Chicago, Il, daughter of the late Paul and Betty Skaritka. She attended schools in Chicago and graduated from Harrison High School in 1953.

Sandra and Roy met in Boulder Junction, WI. Following their marriage, they resided in Plymouth.

She was a 34-year employee of the Plymouth Review, retiring in 1993.

Sandra was a life member of World’s Cheese Center Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post # 5612 in Plymouth where she had served in several positions at the auxiliary, district and state levels. She enjoyed writing Christmas and birthday cards to all the residents of Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility from the auxiliary and post.

Sandra’s hobbies were plastic canvas stitching, reading, playing scrabble and crossword/jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters: Lynne (Steve) Goulder of Las Vegas, NV, and Karen (Eddy) Arnold of Rio Rancho, NM; and one son: Paul (Rhonda) Mikologic of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren: Sarah (Tommy) Killian of Las Vegas, Kyle & Sean Mikologic of Las Vegas and Nicole & Jessica Mikologic of Illinois; two great grandchildren: Jackson & Jonah Killian of Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her husband: LeRoy; one sister: Sonia; and a son: Scott, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2007.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home on Tuesday June 28 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Sandra’s name.
