Classes on backyard games, organics

Plymouth School District Community Education and Recreation is offering new classes on Backyard Games and Organics on a Budget this summer.

Sign up by July 8 and save $10 on the following classes, which will meet at Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave.:

Backyard Games: Experience new games to help you enjoy your backyard and entertain friends. Register as a family or as a pair. Class will meet with instructor Clayton Moore from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 19 to Aug. 4 at the PHS tennis courts; fee is $10/family until July 8, then $20.

Organics on a Budget: Join a lively discussion with chef Brian Bernier, food writer for The Sheboygan Press, and learn ways to purchase affordable, healthy and organic foods and start a healthy eating lifestyle that fits within your budget. Learn which foods you should always buy organically and more about probiotics, including how to make your own. Class will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday July 18; fee is $10 until July 8, then $20 (free for PHS students).
