Sheboygan adds $1/day trolleys
The City of Sheboygan and Shoreline Metro announce the addition of trolleys to the Shoreline Metro fleet to provide continued service (Shoreline Metro Route 40) to Downtown Sheboygan, the Lakefront, Riverfront, and the South Pier District.
Two trolleys were recently purchased from Green Bay Metro.
As early as July 11, participants can hop aboard the Sheboygan Trolley all day long for as little as $1 a day with unlimited access to all shops, restaurants, the marina, lakefront, South Pier and Riverfront.
The $1 pass is sold at the Transit Transfer Station office as well as on board. All trolleys are handicap accessible. In 2015, the dedicated bus service saw over 1,600 riders. The City will be renaming the trolleys and developing a branding strategy around the recently purchased trolleys complete with trolley stops along the route.
