James F. Feider Sr., 78, of Cedar Grove, WI passed away late Wednesday afternoon July 20, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Gables on the Pond where he had been a resident the past eight months.

He was born on April 23, 1938 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late J.P. and Annie (Laures) Feider.

He attended St. Nicholas Parochial School in Dacada and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1955.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1958.

On July 1, 1961 he married Audrey Pierre at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Fredonia.

Jim worked with his father at J.P. Feider Company eventually owning the company and farms which eventually was named Feider Meats which he ran until 1980. He started working in the automobile field in 1983 and in 1987 he started Farm Crest Auto Sales. In 1992, he started with commercial and mini storage which is still going strong today.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada and a member of the Knights of Columbus in the Church.

Jim was a member of the Plymouth Ducks Unlimited and a member of the 2 cycle club. He enjoyed hunting, collecting vintage toys, traveling to Canada, Mexico and collecting antique tractors and spending time with his canine companion: Misty.

Survivors include his children: James Jr. (Mary) Feider of Adell, Jeff (Tammy) Feider of Waldo, Lisa (Mike) Bahr of Belgium and Ricky (Jenny) Feider of Kewaskum; grandchildren: Andrew Feider of Waldo, Kevin Bahr of Belgium, Kellie (Tyrone) Feldmann of Waldo, Alysha Feider (Friend: Brandon Torrison) of Plymouth, Carrie (Aaron) Schipper of Adell, Stephani Feider (Friend: William Schmidt) of Adell, Alex Feider of Adell, Nicole Feider of Adell; grand dog: Captain Feider of Kewaskum; great grandchildren: Dylan Schipper, Lucas Schipper, Blake Feldmann and Avery Schmidt; brothers and sisters: Tony (Loretta) Feider of Sheboygan, Margaret Mueller of Newton, Francis (Sharon) Feider of Elkhart Lake, Mary (Joseph) Kirklewski of Grafton and Helen Schultz of Mequon.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Robert, Arnold, Elmer, Wilmer and Joseph; sisters: Leona, Emily, Bernice and Dolores.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday Morning July 27, 2016 at 10 a,m, at St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada. Father Todd Budde will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening July 26, 2016 at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4 -7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday morning July 27 from 9 a.m. until the time of mass.

Military Rites will be held at the graveside by the Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 following the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in James’s name.
