Cynthia L. Kalmerton, age 66, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, at home in Howards Grove, WI.

Cindy was born on May 11, 1950, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Hein) Young. Cindy graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1968 and furthered her education at Concordia University obtaining her certification in Court Reporting. On October 17, 1970, she married Roy Kalmerton in Sheboygan Falls.

Cindy worked for Mallman & Bastyr Court Reporting and later went on to acquire the business and ran it until her retirement.

Cindy was active in the Madison All- Stars 4H Club in addition to the older youth advisor groups. She also was the “mother coach” of all her boys sporting activities. One of her favorite places was the family cabin “up north” collecting rocks for her rock garden. There wasn’t a safe rock anywhere if there was room in her back seat.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Roy, of 45 years, and her two sons, Jerrad (Amy) Kalmerton of Howards Grove and Patrick (Wendy) Kalmerton of Highland. She is further survived by her grandchildren Rayven, Paige, and Cole Kalmerton; Hannah Laufenberg; Max Maylor and Finley, Montgomery and Drake Kalmerton; three sisters, Carol (Craig) Korff of Sheboygan Falls, Chris (Mike) Debbink of Mequon and Cathy (Scott) Freitag of Sheboygan Falls; brother-in-law Leo (Sue) Kalmerton of Park Falls, and additional nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Jill, and father and mother-in-law, Richard and Arabelle Kalmerton.

Cindy lived for the love of her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at the Bull at Pinehurst Farms, The Bull Golf Course, 1 Long Drive, Sheboygan Falls from 3:00-8:00 p.m. in the Heritage House.

A memorial fund has been established in .Cindy’s name.
