POW/MIA March to be held here

The American Legion Sheboygan County Council will be hosting a Silent March in Plymouth Saturday, Sept. 10.

The march, to commemorate National POW/MIA Recognition Day, will start at 10 a.m. It will begin at the corner of Caroline Street and Mill Street and proceed east on Mill Street to the Plymouth Veterans Memorial Trial.

The public is encouraged to watch this somber march to the beat of a single drum. American Legion post members from the 2nd District will march with their colors and post flags. We ask you to observe our march in support of our efforts to continue the fight for the full accounting of all our POW/MIA’s from all wars. When one American is not worth the effort to be found, we as Americans have lost.

If you have questions contact DuWayne Wieck, Sheboygan County commander, at Dwieckbike@gmail.com.
