MARY A. HARVEY

Mary A. Harvey, age 78, of Plymouth, WI, passed away late Sunday afternoon (Sept. 4, 2016) at Woodland Village at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.

Mary was born on October 25, 1937 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Rathke) Vodobore.

She attended Plymouth grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1956.

On December 10, 1957 she married Elroy Harvey in Milwaukee, WI.

The couple resided in the Plymouth area since their marriage.

Mary worked as a dispatcher for the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department for 22 years retiring in 1996. After retirement, she worked part-time at the Wade House in Greenbush for several years and for Harold Binder Accounting Office in Plymouth. Both of which she enjoyed very much.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

Mary enjoyed traveling and spending time with her loving grandchildren and her beloved Mitzi and Sadie.

Survivors include: Five children: Steven (Tami) Harvey of Elk Mound, WI; Michael (Luanne) Harvey of Plymouth; Daniel (Chrissy) Harvey of Manitowoc; David (Sally) Harvey of Plymouth and Karen (Max) McCue of Plymouth.

Seven grandchildren: Michael Harvey Jr. (Special friend: Cassie) of Plymouth; Sharon Harvey of Plymouth; Beth Ann Harvey (Special friend: Nate) of Milwaukee; Sam Harvey (Special friend: Thiela) of South Carolina and Carissa Harvey (Special friend: Travis) of Plymouth. Two Great Grandchildren: Ty and Nolan Feldner. Special Animal Grandchildren: Flash, Gus, Toby, Charlie, Izzy, Summer and Ace. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother.

Following Mary’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday afternoon (September 9, 2016) from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name for the Humane Society.
